Gardens by the Bay

Tonight we had a fantastic night where six of us plus Mrs Field went across the city to view the magnificent Gardens by the Bay domes in greater detail.

We viewed the end of the amazing light show from a different angle, enjoying the wonderful Christmas theme and music of the lights.

Then we made our way over to the massive domes. Unfortunately we only had time to view the Cloud dome. This dome has a huge waterfall as the main feature which was surrounded by a cool rainforest within.

As we made our way down through the beautiful plants we viewed the different species and aspects of the rain forest. We were also struck by the poignant video which depicted the effects of climate change on the world within the next 100 years. This video struck each girl with a profound necessity to take action against the impending consequences of global warming and reminded us yet again of the particular importance of our global diplomatic work and justified our reasons for attending the conference.

We had a fantastic meal of satay by the bay on the way home and were blessed with the efficient public transport that seems to be all around in Singapore making our trip home easy and efficient.
We are all safely getting into bed now after a big day where most of our girls managed to get some words in during the conference!

We can't wait for another brilliant day tomorrow!!
